I have recorded this when I discovered a way to transfer a signal through an unlimited length of wire without losing the character data. The gate block will output the character if it receives identical data on both input ports. The additional wire on the left is to give the gate a constant signal on one side, so it never outputs its default output character (:). In this short recording, the characters A and B are sent to a printer on the other end of the wire.
